What specific goals or objectives did you hire twoheads to accomplish?

• Creating a scalable e-commerce platform: The primary goal was to build an advanced e-commerce platform capable of handling high traffic and numerous transactions, with a focus on scalability and stability. We wanted to ensure that the site could grow alongside our business.
• Integrating marketplace functionality: We aimed to create a marketplace that would allow multiple vendors to offer their products on a single platform. It was crucial to develop features that enabled easy management of multiple sellers, their products, orders, and payments
• Optimizing user experience (UX/UI): One of the main objectives was to design and implement an intuitive and user-friendly interface that would provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for both buyers and sellers. We focused on achieving high conversion rates and low bounce rates.
• Integrating external tools and services: A key aspect of the project was integrating the website with external services such as payment systems, analytics tools, CRM, and logistics systems. TwoHeads was tasked with ensuring seamless integration of these elements.
• Ongoing support and maintenance: We continue to work with TwoHeads for technical support and site maintenance to ensure ongoing updates, security, and optimal performance in response to evolving market needs.

Since the launch of the site six months ago, measurable outcomes include positive feedback regarding the platform's usability and design. While we have not yet achieved the desired conversion rates, we are actively analyzing user behavior and we intend to optimize the platform to drive future sales growth.

twoheads demonstrate a strong commitment to the project and is highly responsive to our needs throughout the development process. However, the project timeline extended beyond the initially agreed deadlines, which impacted our overall launch schedule. Despite the delays, their team remained dedicated to delivering a high-quality product and was proactive in addressing any challenges that arose.

What impressed us most about TwoHeads was the deep expertise and analytical thinking of the company's owner, along with the extensive experience of their lead full-stack developer and his advanced knowledge of the subject matter. Additionally, the project manager's precise communication ensured that we were always informed and aligned throughout the project. Together, these strengths contributed to a highly professional and responsive collaboration.

Are there any areas for improvement or something twoheads could have done differently?

While the platform developed by TwoHeads is robust and effective, there are areas that could benefit from further enhancements to better align with our evolving needs and make the platform even more advanced and user-friendly:
Invoices and orders:

• Refinement of the layout for order documents to provide a more detailed and user-friendly format for customers after placing an order.
• Automatic generation of sales invoices directly linked to orders within the CMS for streamlined processing.

Product search and listing:

• Improving the load time for product searches by name to enhance user experience and efficiency.

Implementing an automatic product listing feature that loads additional items without the need to click "Show More," while maintaining site responsiveness.

Mobile optimization:

• Further improvements and optimizations to the mobile version of the site to ensure a seamless experience across all devices. Improving GSC metrics.

Segment separation:

• Creating distinct segments for "Vintage" and "Contemporary" items to improve navigation and user experience.

AI features:

• Integrating AI capabilities, such as image-based search and product placement using a phone camera, to offer a virtual try-on experience similar to what is available on platforms like Etsy.
